Despite the many inches of snow in Maine this winter the Cushman Team has been busy preparing for the 2008 race season. The team traveled to New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna, FL for Speedweeks in February .

2/8/08 Qualified 7th with a time of 17.844.
Finished 25th due to a issue with the car and smoking heavily
2/9/08 Qualified 8th with a time of 17.537. The Cushman Team finished 6th
