Austin made his debut race at Richmond Karting Speedway in Richmond Maine on August 24th, 2008. He did a wonderful job, stayed in his own line and finished his first race with a smile and collected his 1st Trophy ever!!!

Austin is doing well during his second time at Richmond Karting Speedway he passed his first kart and was all pumped up!
9/12/08- Austin's 3rd race.. His first race under the lights! Talk up excitement, it was also his 6th Birthday! Due to rain most of practice and heats were rained out, so they just started the feature. Austin started last and right away passed two karts.. while in 3rd Austin's wheels got off the track and into the wet grass and he went spinning down onto the track, and another Kart ran into him. He took a pretty hard hit, but is fine. He wanted to go right back racing, but his rear axle was bent and was unable to finish the race. We are excited about the next race!!
